IT MAKES ME SMILE WHEN I SEE THE PURE WHITE BUTTERFLY LAND ON THE GROUND
A GIFT THAT IS HEAVEN SENT SO SILENTLY FLYS ALL AROUND

ITS BEAUTFUL WINGS FLUTTERING IN THE SLIGHT SUMMER BREEZE

JUST THE SIGHT OF A PURE WHITE BUTTERFLY SHALL MAKE THE DAY SO MUCH EASIER TO BARE

THE GOLDEN GATES OF HEAVEN WERE OPENED WIDE WAITING FOR ME
I KNEW THAT I HAD CROSSED OVER TO THE PROMISED LAND WHERE I WOULD LIVE ON FOR ALL ETERNITY
EACH ANGELS WERE SINGING A MELODY SO ONLY I COULD HEAR
I FELT SO SAFE NOW THIER WAS NO LONGER ANY FEAR

AS I STOOD GAZING AROUND EACH FLOWER OPENED IN BLOOM
WHAT I COULD SEE WAS EACH AND EVERY ANGEL ALL FROM GONETOOSOON
I FELT MYSELF SMILE KNOWING THAT I WAS SAFE THAT THEY WOULD ALL SHOW ME WHAT TO DO
AS THE GOLDEN GATES OPENED AGAIN ANOTHER ANGEL WE WELCOMED THROUGH

I TOUCHED THE WINGS THAT OTHERS WERE WEARING EACH FEATHER I COULD HOLD IN MY HAND
KNOWING THAT THIS WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED EVEN THOUGH MY LEAVING THE WORLD WAS UNPLANNED
I KNOW NOW THAY I SHALL STAY IN ANOTHER PLACE FULL OF BEAUTY
THAT I HAD ALREADY BECOME YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL SENDING MY FIRST GIFT DOWN FROM HEAVEN WAS MY DUTY

I HOPE THAT YOU FOUND IT I KNOW THAT IT WAS NOT MUCH
JUST A TINY PURE WHITE FEATHER SO SOFT TO THE TOUCH
